What people say...
“Angela Harwood is a remarkable person with a great many talents. First and foremost is her combination of interest, enthusiasm and good nature. She has a naturally outgoing and generous minded personality and it would not be an exaggeration to say that the mood in the Balliol College Office has been transformed while she has been here.
She has been unfailingly optimistic and cheerful and combined energy, skill and tact.
She loves organising events and, with her outgoing nature, she does so with aplomb. This was especially true of a set of seminars that I run to which Fellows, students and Old Members are all invited. These run for some 5-6 hours and have a complex set of arrangements with people moving from plenary sessions to dinner to small discussion groups and back to plenary. Angela organised all of these in an exemplary fashion.
Her interest in people and in ideas, her breadth of experience (she has run her own company and has worked in Italy), her energy, her knowledge of food and wine and her seemingly limitless ebullience would equip her well for a wide range of demanding occupations.”

“Given my involvement in the Primary School sector, I greatly valued Angela’s knowledge, enthusiasm and commitment as I developed my skills in Elocution, Etiquette and Interpersonal Communication, and particularly appreciated her straightforward and understanding approach in mentoring me through a difficult time. She has an abundance of common sense, and made the lessons interesting and enjoyable.”
